Josh Miller’s book is a combination of coaching and leadership strategies that really takes this genre to the next level of actionable advice. He comes at this after years of experience that have given him the wisdom to teach without the preachy tone often found in these types of books. I highly recommend I Call BS to anyone in need of a funny good hearted kick in the pants. You’ll get real advice for how to stop making excuses and live your best life.
Really enjoyed this honest and insightful perspective on living your best life (personal & professional) from Joshua Miller. His writing-style is conversational, often incorporating his experience, as well as best practices from other industry experts. The book is full of ways to apply this "no-BS" approach to work and life - I especially loved the "How to Start" sections throughout his chapters. I'm now reading his book for the second time and finding more nuggets of greatness to apply to my own consulting business (and life).
I have been following Joshua for a long time on LinkedIn and have enjoyed his sense of inspiration and humor. So glad that this book is bringing it all together, with wisdom and no-nonsense! The world needs more of this.
Really powerful and concise - distills Josh's personal insight from years of coaching and lessons from some of the top 'motivational' speakers and writers. I've read a lot of books in the 'self-help' category, and this is truly one of the finest and most readable and actionable. It's not for the faint of heart as it requires one to take responsibility for everything happening in their lives - good and bad - but helps you do that in a way that's compassionate and that works.
I Call BS is a great read for anyone looking to improve themselves and live a happier life. It's way simpler and less complicated than we make it out to be. The book is simple and an easy read but impactful. It's something I will read again and reference often. I would recommend to anyone looking who is looking to change and grow.
Joshua Miller's direct and honest approach is both refreshing and effective. I consider myself to be a very direct and self-aware individual and I was surprised to find, on several occasions, that I needed to rethink my approach to certain areas of my life and work. He has an amazing ability to get you to reevaluate ideas that you would never have thought you could see from a different perspective.
Josh Miller's: I Call BS" is a brutally honest assessment and approach to helping people discover how to create the life they want and deserve. Each chapter takes you on a journey of self-awareness and provides proactive actionable steps to help you find your truth. My "aha" moment came while reading the chapter on "Challenging Beliefs" and made me examine (truthfully) what was real (or not) and steps I could take to put me on the path to living an honest and amazing life.
I love this book! Joshua does a great job providing a ton of practical and real-world tools to use on a daily basis. This is not a self-help book, but a self-respect book. I regularly use for my own personal growth and share with others, many of the practical tools Joshua provides in this book. It requires work and taking responsibility for your personal "nonsense.

I’ve been following Josh for over a year now and his daily posts are always SPOT ON. The sample of his book was incredibly moving for anyone who gets ‘lost in their own head’ at times on our path. As a mother of three girls and life’s quickly moving scenes it is easy to feel that tumultuous drain... but..this book, in my opinion, spells out exactly what we often get lost in—- our own bulls

My experience working with Joshua Miller showed me that he is a man of integrity, wholeheartedness, compassion, and insight. In that context, I was excited to hear he had a new book, and I expected nothing less than what I had seen from him before. In fact, I expected more. What I got from the book, was a more complete understanding of the challenges that can influence our lives and how they show up.
What a great read! This straightforward no nonsense approach to self-improvement has become a daily motivator. The bottom line here is often times the greatest impediment to the fulfillment of our goals are the obstacles we place in our own way. This book can help you stop lying to yourself which in turn gives you fewer excuse and ultimately prevents you from settling for less than what you want
Josh's book is a no-holds-barred introduction to leadership coaching and shows how one can take key coaching concepts and apply them to their life. A great read for anyone looking to take control of their life and as the sub-title implies live the life you want to live and not someone else's life. Josh's tone is refreshingly honest and to the point and Josh gets at the core of the problem for many of us.

Josh’s insights and perspective about creating the life you want (I mean deserve) to live are spot on. He covers a broad range of topics that I think most people looking for more out of life struggle with. He makes it personal by going in-depth about his own journey to discovering his best life.
His brutally honest approach is raw and authentic and he doesn’t shy away from his own struggles with some of life’s greatest challenges. I think Josh’s true genius is in his ability to take cerebral topics and simplify them in a way that allows people to incorporate actionable steps in their daily lives.
