Our brains are a complex and in some ways, a simple organ to understand. It awaits our command and attention and once it has it’s marching orders – it’s off and running (or processing) thoughts, emotions and ultimately determining our outlook on what’s in front of us.
Said another way, it’s like a light switch in energy saving mode until we flick it on. When we turn on our brain, we see everything but everything can be a lot. Fear not, we (meaning you) have the power to focus on what’s positive and harness your focus and power intentionally towards having a great day.
Using a mantra in the morning will set the tone for how you’ll view and respond to the world throughout the day. Morning mantras set an intention for where your focus and energy should be, empowering you to maintain that mindset.
Here are 35 to get you going…
Where ever I am is exactly where I am supposed to be.
The things that make me different are the things that make me.
Today I Will Choose Happiness.
If the grass looks greener on the other side…Stop staring. Stop comparing. Stop complaining and start watering the grass you’re standing on.
Today I will breathe deeply & go slowly.
Satisfaction is not always the fulfillment of what you want; it is the realization of how blessed you are for what you have.
I am thankful for everything I have.
I will take one little action that will bring me closer to my goal.
Today I will positively impact someone’s day.
Just because it didn’t last forever, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth it.
I am enough.
I may not be there yet but I’m closer that I was yesterday.
Just because I am struggling does NOT mean I am failing.
It’ s okay yo not know but it’s not okay to not try.
I can control my attitude toward what happens and will drive change rather than allowing it to drive me.
I will do more of what makes me happy.
I am going to make the rest of my life the best of my life.
I am a work in progress.
I can’t reach what’s in front of me, until I let go of what’s behind me.
I will be the type of person I want to be around.
Everything I’m searching for is already inside of me.
The true measure of my success is how many times I can bounce back from failure.
I will think positive and allow positive things happen around me.
Today I will do something my future self will thank me for.
No excuses. Just results.
I am powerful.
Today I will work for it instead of wish for it.
I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday.
Today I will do what others think is impossible and prove my all my haters wrong.
I will let my past make me better not bitter.
I will not water myself down just because someone can’t handle me at 100 proof.
Never allow someone or something that adds very little to your life, to control so much of it.
Never surrender your hopes and dreams to the tragic limitations others have placed on their own lives.
If you want to be happy and bright, let go of your need to always be right.
