30 Life Lessons Kids Can Teach Us
life lessons from children

This post is dedicated to my three and a half year old son Charlie. The most amazing gift a dad could ask for. Thank you for teaching me something everyday. With all my heart, Dad.

Kids (of all ages) live by their instincts openly and without hesitation. They can be enthusiastic about life, eager to learn, and curious about everything.  Even though they still have a lot to learn, just observing them can teach us many practical life lessons from children.

Here are 30 practical life lessons from my children

They are simple, yet pertinent to living a happy, healthy and productive life.

Life is a journey, and here’s how to make the most of it: First and foremost, nurture and value your relationships. Simultaneously, pursue your curiosity and don’t be afraid to express yourself. In fact, ask a lot of questions! Occasionally, things get messy, and that’s okay. Just learn to clean up after yourself when you’re done. You’ll realize many life lessons are taught by children.

Each and every day, make it the best day ever! Start each day with excitement. Even if it’s not fair, don’t stop trying. Fight for what you believe is right. If you’re bored, find something to do. After all, it’s good to dream.

Undoubtedly, time together matters most. Hold hands with those you love and tell them you love them. While people often need days with a lot of structure, occasionally spontaneous days are the best. In those moments, you’ve learned important life lessons from children around you.

Moreover, celebrate the seasons. And you don’t always have to sort things perfectly. Simply be grateful for what you have.

Furthermore, call it like you see it. In other words, don’t be afraid to speak the truth. Learn by imitation. Sometimes, humming and singing can be beautiful. Observe others. Above all, never let failure be permanent. And never be afraid to try something new. Sometimes it’s best to just jump! Share with others about things you love. And finally, remember, you’re never too old to play outside and absorb lessons from children living their lives.

The Value of an Executive Coach

Executive coach is a term used to describe a professional who provides guidance and support to individuals in leadership positions. These coaches help executives develop their skills, improve their decision-making abilities, and navigate the challenges of leading an organization. An executive coach can be invaluable for those looking to enhance their leadership effectiveness and achieve their professional goals. They can also help you apply life lessons learned from children in the workplace.
