Dear Travis: I Have An Idea
similarities with UBER to coaching

Dear Travis, I wanted to share some insights about mobile executive coaching.

I know you’re busy, so I’ll be brief. First off, congratulations on your continued success! You’re a true inspiration.

Recently, I had an experience during an Uber ride that sparked an idea. While stuck on the 405, my driver overheard my coaching call and was incredibly impressed by the impact it had. This immediately got me thinking about how Uber could further enhance its services by integrating mobile executive coaching into rides.

To begin, here’s a quick overview of your current Uber offerings:

  • UberX: Seats 4, least expensive, cars like Toyota Prius, Honda Accord. (UberPop in Europe)
  • UberXL: Seats 6, SUVs and minivans, costs more than UberX.
  • UberSelect: Entry-level luxury, seats 4, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc., leather interior. (Formerly UberPlus)
  • UberPOOL: Share your ride, split the cost.
  • UberBLACK: Luxury service, black SUV or luxury sedan, most expensive.

With that in mind, I propose a 6th option:

UberEC (Mobile Executive Coach):

  • Essentially, it’s like UberBLACK, but specifically designed for business professionals seeking executive coaching on the go. Key focus areas would include: Wellness, Money, Career, and Relationships. For example, passengers could request coaching on topics like: Difficult conversations, motivation, and interview prep, making the best out of mobile executive coaching sessions.

    .
  • In terms of logistics, the passenger would request an UberEC and include their coaching request. Then, once in the car, they receive a call from a coach and the session begins. Importantly, drivers would focus solely on driving, not on providing coaching.

Now, I understand you might have some questions about mobile executive service, so I’ve already considered key factors such as:

  • Firstly, matching riders and coaches effectively. I have a plan to ensure seamless and relevant connections.
  • Secondly, coach onboarding. I know how to attract and onboard qualified coaches onto the platform.
  • Thirdly, session length. I’ve determined the optimal ride duration for a productive and impactful mobile executive coaching session.
  • Furthermore, I’ve developed a clear cost and fee structure.
  • Finally, I’ve considered the impact of driver vs. driverless vehicles. While driverless vehicles offer more privacy, the service can certainly work with certified coach-drivers as well, continuing the ideas behind mobile executive coaching.

Ultimately, I’d love to share my complete vision for UberEC with you and demonstrate how it elevates your service offerings. Moreover, I believe this new service can further solidify Uber’s leadership in transportation, connectivity, and lifestyle.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Warm regards,
